Job Title: Senior Engineer – Systems Engineering
Location: Barrow-In-Furness, Filton, Weymouth, Portsmouth, Brough, Manchester, or Frimley. (Hybrid – 2 days per fortnight) – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role
Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Working in collaboration with other systems engineers and domain experts to develop the systems engineering capabilities of the internal communication and data networks
- Provide subject matter expertise and advice to internal and external stakeholders on Systems Engineering and Model Based Systems Engineering
- Ensuring the proposed design is captured within the requirements management tools and modelling environment at an appropriate level of authority
- Understand the Internal Communication and Data Network requirements for the platform and support the definition and associated acceptance criteria through the whole engineering lifecycle
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders such as inter-business teams, MOD & industrial partners
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- Broad knowledge and experience of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle and Engineering Frameworks
- Experience developing solutions to meet complex technical requirements in a highly regulated industry/environment
- STEM Degree or equivalent qualification and experience within an engineering background
Desirable:
- Holding or capable of obtaining INCOSE accreditation (ASEP)

This is a pioneering role as we embark on creating Australia’s first nuclear-powered boat, a project spanning three nations and several decades.
