Role Description:

Working with our Aircraft Sustainment and Training (AST) Business Unit, the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Administrator will be responsible for providing support to staff and students for the Australian Defence Force Aviation Technical Training (ADF ATT) project.

This is a 12-month fixed term role.

Core Duties:

  • Maintaining RTO compliance with Student information and record keeping IAW ASQA Guidelines (Standards 1 to 7)
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external customers ensuring that agreed service levels are achieved and maintained and deadlines met
  • Maintaining and managing assessment standards, processes and procedures to ensure compliance and integrity of BAES assessment process.
  • Assist with Developing and implement processes and procedures as required to ensure currency validity, and continuous improvement
  • Responding to student enquiries and act as point of contact in a customer facing environment
  • Performing administration duties in relation to the BAE System Australia Registered Training Organisation (RTO) requirements as required
  • Maintaining training records using the defined process
  • Assisting with the training and development of team members and participate in identified professional development activities
  • Other tasks as required

About You:

  • The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent customer relations skills for both internal and external customers
  • Ability to recognise and discreetly handle sensitive matters and demonstrate integrity of the highest order
  • The ability to prioritise and work effectively under tight deadlines whilst demonstrating the ability to multi-task and have effective time management skills
  • People focused with a high level of written and oral communication skills
  • Computer literacy, with intermediate knowledge of MS Suite
  • As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances

At Royal Australian Air Force Base Wagga, BAE Systems delivers aviation technical training to Australian Defence Force (ADF) aircraft technicians. Our high-quality facility at Wagga Wagga in New South Wales provides students with access to aircraft and state of the art simulators.
