JOB PURPOSE
BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Developing (including continuous) improvement and deploying Project Management Capabilities across lines of business and functions by:
· Ensuring that designated Project Management Improvements are identified and deployed to the Business Unit, and that stakeholders are provided with regular updates on improvement progress.
· Providing interfaces, domain expertise and knowledge in the delivery of Project Management Capability with all Project Management stakeholders.
· Capturing, developing and discharging new and existing Project Management competencies and capabilities (Policies , Processes and Toolsets) to the Business Unit.
· Implementing PM Assurance and Maturity Assessments as a way to measure the current capability levels and assist in identifying capability gaps, and subsequent evidence of delivery including associated benefit returns of strategic capability deployments.
· Manage the PM Capability Development team, that includes the development of improvement plans and the management and reporting of its execution.
· Establishing Information and Knowledge Management capability that enables the capture of Lessons Learned and identification of Continuous Improvements within PM Governance and Capabilities.
· Supporting and assisting with the development and deployment of Corporate Project Management Council and Performance Excellence capabilities.
· Supporting the implementation of the BAE Systems Saudi Arabia “Fit for Purpose” activities / project.
· Providing PM Functional representation at LoB Programme and/or Project reviews.
· Deploying relationships between the PM function, business units, wider community & cross functions.
RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
· The candidate must have extensive experience in the application of Project Lifecycle Management.
· The candidate must be capable of assigning resources to manage internal projects, ensuring completion on time, to cost and specification, including appropriate adherence to LCM.
· The candidate must demonstrate the skills required in forward planning, communication and involvement of key stakeholders in contributing to the success of this role.
