Job Title: Project Assistant

Salary: Up to £30,000 dependent on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- General administration duties (diary management/excel work/ Powerpoint Presentations/invoicing etc.)
- Arrange travel – local & international for the Maritime Services Type 26, Canadian Riverclass Support team
- Management of IT tools i.e. Windchill, SharePoint, SAP, etc
- Time and attendance management for the Maritime Services Support team
Your skills and experiences:
- Proficient with MS Office software
- Experience in a business support function

The Programme and Governance team:
The UK Type 26 programme is in the Manufacturing phase for the build of 8 ships; taking the programme out to 2033. The Maritime Services Support budget is currently c.£163M. The Canadian programme has just commenced with further work in the coming year. The Australian programmes are in the preliminary design phase.
The holder of this position is responsible for providing administration support to the Programme and Governance Manager and the Head of Type 26 Support, but also provide a service to the Support team (approximately 100 people); reporting to the Type 26 Support Programme & Governance Manager.
