Salary: Circa £33,000 depending on experience and skills

Role Description:

Would you like a chance to work in a state of the art electronics environment on both civil and military platforms? We currently have a number of vacancies for Production Technicians at our site in Rochester. As a Production Technician, you will be part of an integrated manufacturing/repair teambuilding, wiring, assembling and or inspecting complex electronic assembly’s or sub assembly’s in accordance with manufacturing build instructions, , ensuring build time and quality standard are met. You will gain internationally recognised IPC certifications for electronic assembly.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work on state of the art equipment including advance pilot control systems and advanced pilot displays as well as the chance to migrate/develop into other technician disciplines and gain a wider understanding of both the product functionality and the business unit as a whole.

Core Duties:

  • Wiring/soldering and assembling Electronic sub-assemblies and final assemblies working to IPC standard
  • Undertaking inspection where trained and requested to do so
  • Working strictly to our MES electronic work instructions
  • Ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained to keep areas FOD free.
  • Maintaining accurate written and electronic records
  • Using our IT tools within a Windows environment
  • Willingness to work one of our shift patterns

Essential Skills:

  •  Experience of wiring and soldering to a high standard (such as, IPC standard)
  •  Experience with the electronics industry
  •  Solid IT skills
