Job title: Product Support Engineering Team Leader

Location: Rochester

Salary: Up to £42,000 dependent on skills and experience

 

What you’ll be doing:  

  • Line management of a team of Production Support Engineers
  • Manage the On-Time Delivery of the Product Support Engineering team
  • Lead daily activities and responsibilities of the Product Support Engineering Team
  • Develop the skills and behaviours of individuals within their team
  • Develop and enhance repair diagnostic capability across the product range
  • Manage interactions with airlines regarding technical enquires
  • Assess and develop equipment for modification/upgrade opportunities

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Experience in diagnostics and repair/maintenance of electronic equipment to component level – analogue and digital circuits
  • Able to confidently lead on troubleshooting activities
  • Team management / supervisory experience
  • Presentable to all levels of the business

Desirable:

  • Experience in working to EASA Part 145 Regulations
  • Experience gained with a civil aviation repairs environment (CMM / SIL)

The Product Support team:

As the Product Support Engineering Team Leader, you will be reporting to the Rochester Service Centre Production Leader. You will lead a team of Product Support Engineers and be responsible for their day to day activities in supporting the resolution of technical issues within the Service Centre, and enhancing the capability of the Service Centre from a technical position.
