Job title: Product Environmental Manager – Team Lead

Location: Filton, Bristol – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary:  Up to £64,700 depending on skills and experience

 

What you’ll be doing:

·       Manage the environmental engineering resource including Performance management and development of individuals and teams

·       Responsible for ensuring the development of Product Environmental documentary outputs for the project, to time, cost and quality

·       Planning and executing strategies for completing projects on time

·       Proposing and managing resource for multiple projects

·       Identification of talent and supporting people with training and career planning

·       Product Environmental team development, improvement initiatives and change management

·       Researching and developing sustainable design in conjunction with technical experts

·       Ensuring products and initiatives have support of senior management

·       Reporting the Head of Environmental Engineering Governance on project environmental functional performance

 

Your skills and experiences:

·       An experienced environmental professional, ideally with lifecycle assessment experience

·       Detailed knowledge and experience of environmental management practices

·       Major Programme experience at senior level – concept, bid, design

·       Sound planning skills to overcome and adapt to change within a complex engineering environment

Environmental Engineers at all levels should possess an academic qualification in Environmental Science or other related environmental management subjects as well as specific (either academic or professional) qualifications and become members of an appropriate recognised professional institution and work towards becoming Chartered Environmentalists. Environmental Engineers are encouraged and will be supported, to achieve the relevant accreditation. Preference will be given to candidates who are already professionally registered.
