Job Title: People, Technology & Data Capability Lead
Location: Preston. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: Up to £64,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- You will have line lead responsibilities for the EIT PMO Resourcing, Tooling & Data team, providing direction and leadership for delivery of data and management information reporting in the Portfolio and Project (P&P) area
- Driving the automation of reporting using a variety of data visualisation tools and ensure accuracy and excellence across all P&P portfolios and projects within EIT
- Utilising your experience in data and management information to be able to provide current data, trends and forecast reports across the variety of EIT Projects & Portfolios
- Working across all stakeholder levels to review management information reporting and implement change as needed to ensure reporting is fit for purpose
- Providing support to the wider PMO and P&P teams to ensure reporting meets the quality and compliance requirements in line with LCM
- Overseeing the 5 year resourcing plan and manage the in year On-Boarding and Off-Boarding of all project staff
- Building and managing a Project Finance Analyst capability
Your skills and experiences:
- Competent in management reporting and data processing
- Understanding of working with databases and project management reporting programmes.
- Experience of MS Project & SharePoint
- Knowledge of Project Management, LCM, Business Analysis, Change Management concepts and techniques
- Ability to find and adopt best practice
- Demonstrate an ability to engage and influence stakeholders both internally and externally
- Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Production of management reports, including trends & forecasting (resource finance, project controls)
- Data analytics qualifications
- Project management qualification, eg, Prince2, APM/PMDY

The PMO (Portfolio Management Office) team:
You will be working collaboratively in a growing team of PMO professionals and reporting directly to the Head of PMO. There are multiple opportunities for career growth and progression via a mature and progressive Project Management function spanning the entire organisation.
