Job Title: Operations Technician

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: From £28,636 – depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Taking detailed, concise and accurate recordings of minutes and actions
• Processing complex and varied documents and information received from a range of sources
• Obtaining, formatting and analysing data from several sources to produce reports and schedules
• Maintaining and storing technical documentation
• Liaising with a wide range of internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers
• Undertaking a range of specialised clerical and administrative duties

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Minute-taking experience
• Extensive administrative experience
• Document control knowledge, particularly confidential information
• Experience building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
• Proficient with Microsoft office

Desirable:

• Proficient with SAP and Team Centre

The Test Group Support team:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a varied role within the Test and Commissioning function that will allow you to develop knowledge across multiple Boat Programmes as well as the opportunity to be able to access several of the Boats. This is a team where your progression is valued, and you’ll gain great exposure across the wider business. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
