Salary: £59,491.00 + DOE

Job Description: 

Led the delivery of Business Operations and Integration activities for the Capabilities Business, with a focus on projects currently under contract. Managed and provided leadership to the Business Operations Current Business Team, coordinated monthly and quarterly programme performance reviews, and oversaw Business Continuity Management and Information Management activities. Responsible for coordinating monthly business reporting requirements across the organisation and providing wider support to the Capabilities Programme Integration team as required

Core duties:

  • Delivery of Business Operations and Integration activities for the Capabilities Business with a focus on projects currently on contract.
  • Team leadership of the Business Operations Current Business Team
  • Co-ordinate the monthly and quarterly programme performance review process
  • Lead the coordination of Business Continuity Management and Information Management activities
  • Lead the coordination of monthly Business Reporting requirements upwards through the organisation
  • Provide support across the Capabilities Programme Integration team as required

Essential Skills: 

  • Proven experience in a business operations, operations management, or similar role within a large organisation
  • Experienced in establishing and facilitating effective meetings
  • Organised, self-motivated and experienced in managing and developing people
  • Ability to build good working relationships and manage stakeholders across varying levels of the organisation. This role will engage at senior leadership levels.
  • Ability to synthesise, report and communicate information verbally and in written format clearly and concisely to enable key messages and status to be understood by different levels of the hierarchy
  • Good, demonstrable all-round MS Office skills, especially in PowerPoint and Excel and comfortable to develop them further, as required by the role

The Capabilities Business Operations team : 

Supports the Capabilities business by delivering a clear and concise review and reporting structure across the Typhoon and Tornado platforms to ensure the organisation delivers its business requirements in line with corporate mandates. The team engages on a daily basis with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and across multiple functions and a culture of continual improvement is embedded within the team to ensure we deliver a service with the maximum quality and efficiency.
