Job title: Network Service Manager
Location: Preston. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 Depending on experience and skills
What you’ll be doing:
- Responsibility for the delivery and management of change across services, supporting the Tower Service Manager to meet the required outcome of these agreed changes
- Owning knowledge and familiar with services and products under management
- Ensuring service definitions documents for the managed services are maintained and current
- Supplier Management, forming close working relationships, ensuring accountability for the management and delivery of the contracted services
- Providing input and challenge into monthly service reviews and internal reporting cadence
- Ensuring service demand information flows between key stakeholders and that that service capacity is appropriate to meet the future demand
- Responsibility for the management of service risks ensuring that these are appropriately communicated to the Tower Manager ensure that mitigation actions are developed and implemented
- Responsibility for supporting customer and supplier escalations and complaints relative to the managed service to effective conclusion
- Ensuring that Business engagement community have the required information to meet their customer’s business needs
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- General working knowledge of Network Service Management of Network Services and suppliers
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of current Network infrastructure and products
- Good understanding of SIAM and ITIL process
- Experience in stakeholder management with colleagues/suppliers across a range of capabilities and disciplines within EITS
Desirable:
- ITIL V3 foundation or equivalent
- Background in a technical Network environment
