- Delivering a synthetic integration capability using a Model-Driven Simulation approach to support the FCAS programme through-life
Essential Skills:
- Experience with functional programming languages and MBSE toolsets and techniques
- Strong background in Engineering, Physics, Maths, or Computer Science

The FCAS Synthetics Team:
You’ll be joining the FCAS Synthetics Team within the Digital Engineering workstream, a small but highly impactful group driving the future of synthetic environments. The team acts as an enabler across GCAP, supporting stakeholders by aligning approaches, reducing risk, and accelerating development through digital engineering and simulation. Currently led by Tom, the Synthetics team is a close-knit unit of four, with two new vacancies, and sits within a wider digital engineering capability of around 20 people. This role offers the chance to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment, contributing directly to innovation, efficiency, and confidence in complex designs across the programme.
