Job title:  Logistics Bus Driver PSV D Licence 

Location:  Barrow-In-Furness (On-site)

Salary: £32,632

What you’ll be doing:

• To undertake professional driving responsibilities and provide accountability along with a quality service to all internal and external customers
• Professional driving of fleet vehicles in a safe manner and complying with company operating procedures at all time
• Ensure that vehicle and equipment defects are recorded and reported promptly
• Safe transit of goods around site
• Accountability for inventory accuracy as appropriate
• Delivery of transport Service Level Agreements

Your skills and experiences:

Essential: 

• PSV/D License
• Fully Qualified CPC card/qualification
• Valid & In-date tachograph card

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Microsoft office packages
• Great communication skills
• Knowledge of EU Drivers hours

The Logistics Operations team:

In the Transport department we utilise all type of vehicles to support the submarine programs. We move anything from a small box to a submarine section. We also have our own in-house postman who covers the internal & external post. In this role, you will be expected to transport people to and from Airports and hotels as/and when required, often liaising with Senior Stakeholders within the business. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
