JOB PURPOSE
BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
As a Leadership Instructor, the Post Holder will be expected to deliver, maintain and develop Command, Management and Leadership (CML) training at King Faisal Air Academy (KFAA) Al Majma’ah, KSA. This includes full participation in the delivery of a bespoke CML course to Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Officer Cadets utilising classroom-based lectures/tutorials and indoor/outdoor Experiential Learning techniques. Additionally, the Post Holder will facilitate individual CML development through coaching, mentoring and evaluation
RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
Essential: The post holder must have:
a) DSAT Defence Trainer Qualification (DIT/DWT/DTTT Phase 1/2) and/or an Adult Education Certificate/Diploma (Level 3 Minimum).
b) A proven portfolio of Defence Trainer/facilitator experience.
c) A comprehensive understanding of the Defence Systems approach to Training or evidence of training delivery with a comparable Systems approach to Training mechanism.
d) Successfully completed: – the Royal Air Force College (RAFC) Cranwell Officer and Aircrew Training Unit Staff Induction Course (OSIC) (post 2004), or – the Saudi Officers School (SOS) Khamis Mushyet, “Alsahan” graduates and instructors course, or – a comparable Military Officer-level CML training programme/institution induction course.
e) A Leadership & Management Qualification: MSc/MA, BSc/BA, Level 5/6/7 Leadership & Management Diploma (ILM/CMI).
f) Documented evidence of two years’ experience (minimum) delivering/facilitating Command, Management and Leadership within a military environment.
g) The ability to maximise student leadership potential through a range of coaching and mentoring techniques.
h) Validated experience facilitating practical Command-Leadership tasks, with an emphasis on the Safe System of Training.
i) A history of Leadership within a military context.
Desirable: The post holder should have:
a) Coaching and Mentoring Diploma (CMI/ILM level 5).
b) IOSH Managing Safely.
c) Strength Deployment Inventory 2.0 Facilitators Certificate.
d) ERCA High/Low Ropes Instructor Qualification.
e) MTa/MTC Facilitators Certificate. f) City & Guilds A1 Assessor.
