Job Title: Lead Project Professional- Delivery

Location: Barrow – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £45,628+ depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing: 

• Providing day to day direction and support to the project engineers
• Responsible for day to day running of all units in their assigned yards
• You will be the route of escalation for dependencies impacting assigned yards
• Understanding and driving remaining scope to schedule, cost and quality
• Analysing progress data and the impact on the delivery date and manage delays

Your skills and experiences: 

Essential:

• Defence Project Management experience, preferably shipbuilding
• Experience managing complex projects and multiple deliverables

Desirables:

• Line management experience
• Experience working in a commercial setting
• Document control skills
• Solid experience using excel and PowerPoint
• Experience of Teamcenter and SAP

The Dreadnought Strategic Outsource Team: 

The Dreadnought Strategic Outsource team is responsible for providing capacity relief to the Barrow site. The department delivers a number of products across all four boats. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work in a multi-functional team and have a meaningful impact for delivering key elements of the Dreadnought Submarine. This role will also allow you to set up a successful lasting career with BAE Systems
