Job Title: Lead Project Professional

What you’ll be doing: 

• You will perform advanced project reporting and scheduling using Earned Value Management
• Agree on project approaches with stakeholders and prepare realistic, quality risk and communications plans
• Track activities against the project schedule whilst managing the stakeholder involvement
• Lead a small project or a work package of a larger project
• You will manage the full project lifecycle to ensure that, over time the needs of customers/users continue to be met and that financial and other benefits are achieved
• Identify, assess and manage any risks and opportunities to the success of the project
• Deputise for the Head of Product Integrity in key programme related meetings

Your skills and experiences: 

• You will need to hold good Project Management and Controls experience demonstrated in a professional capacity
• Have a good understanding of one or more Project Management and Controls tools, techniques and practices
• Knowledge of Project Management governance and assurance processes such as Integrated Baseline Reviews
• Experience of working with stakeholders across all levels
• Have experience of problem solving from a Business environment

The Project Controls team: 

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a dynamic developing team who play a crucial role in ensuring that we provide high quality and safe submarines to the Royal Navy. The team includes a range of niche discipline industry experts who support multiple submarine programmes and because of the growth of the team and their work, there is a need to provide project management support to the Head of the department. There will be fantastic room for career development in the team. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria
