Job Title: Integrated Logistics Support Engineer

Salary: Up to £42,000 Depending on skills & experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Daily use of Hardware Management System for asset management and movement, recording of serial numbers and other pertinent data
- Assisting with the analysis of Inventory data received from the MOD
- Maintaining build state records for the ship & shore based systems, ensuring system definitions and records of the new platforms are complete and sufficient for purpose
- Ensuring the spares held in support of all the systems are correctly managed, codified and controlled
- Monitoring the accuracy of GFE (Government Furnished Equipment) records relating to project holdings & alignment with internal toolsets
- Organising hardware disposals of excess and BER (Beyond economic repair) stock
- Assisting and reporting on stock audits across sites, including audits of rigs utilised under the RECODE contract
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Previous experience working within a Naval support background
- Have a structured, methodical and disciplined approach with attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to prioritise own workload to meet project demand
- Previous experience working within or managing data sets
Desirable:
- Attention to detail, in particular the accuracy of data entered into database systems
- Ability to accept changing priorities to meet customer expectations, often at short notice

The RECODE (Real Time Combat Systems Open Data Enablers) Team:
You will be joining the RECODE (Real Time Combat Systems Open Data Enablers) team who are responsible for maintaining high levels of combat system equipment availability across multiple deployed platform classes, including the Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carriers and Type 45 Destroyers.
The role provides the opportunity to lead in the delivery of key technology and capability updates to the Royal Navy. It brings opportunities to experience all stages of the capability life cycle across a wide range of engineering disciplines, engage with many external customer and internal BAE Combat Systems organisations, and proactively embed new ways of working.
