About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for an ILS Integration Officer to join our program based at Garden Island OR Canberra or anywhere around Australia, reporting to the ILS Lead.

Join a high-demand ILS role in Defence Maritime’s top project, working within a dynamic team and engaging diverse stakeholders to open new opportunities.
Reporting to the ILS Lead, you will be responsible for helping to prepare the ship during its upgrade while learning to influence key stakeholders for successful outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide support in the review and delivery of Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) Analysis, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
- Draw conclusions and propose recommendations to improve equipment and system reliability based on LSA data and available evidence.
- Assist in the development of project infrastructure such as tools deployment, metrics collection and process development.
- Assist in the delivery of ILS supportability engineering activities including Technical Data, Planned Maintenance and Sparing.
- Identify and investigate ILS supportability engineering problems and risks, formulating strategies for their resolution
- Complete and deliver reporting documentation on time, to an agreed schedule.
About YOU
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering OR equivalent experience working as a technician
- Experience with asset management, supportability technical experience, Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) and Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
- Experience in the technical review and reporting of data relative to the mechanical and electrical health of systems and equipment in a defence or related technical industry
- Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
- Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
