Job title: Higher Apprentice Supply Chain Location: Barrow Salary: We offer a competitive salary with annual increases throughout the apprenticeship and a range of employee benefits including, free higher education as well as access to the Company pension and share saving scheme What you’ll be doing: During the varied three-year Supply Chain Higher Apprenticeship programme you will have the opportunity to work in a fast paced environment on business critical projects. At every opportunity, you will help us deliver a sustainable and ethical Supply Chain. Working alongside our experts, you will help us deliver the right product, at the right time for the right price, all whilst ensuring our Supply Chain promotes diversity and creativity. After each six-month placement, you will rotate to a different part of our Supply Chain Function ensuring you have a varied, challenging and exciting experience. For each placement you undertake, you will develop a different set of practical and technical skills. These will be delivered as on the job training in a variety of teams. On top of this, you will join a community of other Higher Apprentices and study towards the globally recognised Level 4 CIPS (Chartered Institute for Procurement and Supply) qualification. This will not only provide you with a broad technical understanding of Procurement and Supply but inspire you to think about how we can do things differently. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks. |
