What you will be doing Supply Chain is an Integral Function responsible for researching, sourcing, buying, storing, maintaining and delivering critical products and services required for build. Whilst ensuring they are delivered to the correct requirements/specification, at the right time, for the right cost and to exacting quality standards. During your extensive three year Supply Chain Higher Apprenticeship programme you will get to work alongside Subject Matter Experts, whilst actively taking part in a diverse range of activities which may include; managing a vast range of external suppliers, supporting the negotiation and raising of purchase orders for multi-million pound commercial contracts, helping to improve policies and procedures, and troubleshooting storage solutions for some of our hundreds of thousands of items, to name a few. Each placement you undertake will offer a distinctive set of practical and technical skills. These will be delivered as on the job training, across a number of placements and a variety of teams. This will be solidified with studying towards a globally recognised Level 4 CIPS (Chartered Institute for Procurement and Supply) qualification that will provide you with an overarching technical understanding of Procurement and Supply.
