Job Title: Higher Apprentice Project Management Location: Glasgow Salary: Starting from £23,286 with annual progression through the scheme duration. What you will be doing: Whatever project you are assigned to, you’ll be the eyes and ears of that project, ensuring it stays on track. You will maintain, update and report on key project data, identify any potential issues as the project progresses and help make effective decisions to move the project along. You’ll be using the latest project management tools to assist the teams you are assigned to in keeping projects on track. You will move between a series of placements throughout the first two years of the three year apprenticeship. The placements consist of Project Controls, Project Planning, Detail Planning, Change Management and Risk & Opportunity Management. The final year will typically be a yearlong placement in your strongest performing placement area, gaining the relevant skills and knowledge to be fully competent to graduate into the professional role that is associated with the chosen area. Specific activities could include: During a three-year Project Management apprenticeship you will be embedded within our Project Controls and Planning teams supporting the successful delivery of our major programmes by gathering information about time, cost and quality then identifying and analysing data trends and driving actions to their conclusion. Equipping you with the foundation of both the knowledge and experience required to develop into one of our Project Controller or Planner positions on the first step of the project management career path.
