Job Title: Head of Planning Monitoring and Controls

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role. 

Salary: Circa £90,000 depending on skills and experiences with executive benefits on top

What you’ll be doing: 

• Leading the development and delivery of integrated planning and reporting and activities across the Technology Enablement area
• Managing a team of professionals and supporting their performance, growth, and development
• Acting as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders, providing structured, data-driven insight that supports business-critical decisions
• Overseeing the Integrated Business Planning process and coordinating timely reporting to multiple audiences
• Driving the improvement and automation of reporting tools and processes in collaboration with the Data & Analytics Team
• Ensuring continuity and alignment between different programme areas and project phases

Your skills and experiences: 

• Strong background in project controls or high-level project management within an engineering environment
• Confident working with senior internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to influence and advise
• Highly organised, structured, and methodical in approach
• Excellent understanding of financial and performance reporting
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop others
• Strong communication skills and resilience in a dynamic, complex programme environment
