Job title: Hardware Engineer
Location: Warton. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements
Salary: Between £45,326 – £49,834 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
• Reviewing of supplier hardware documentation to support of new and evolving Radar products
• Producing Radar test procedures in support of development and production aircraft build
• Supporting the team with ad-hoc hardware technical queries
• Providing status reporting of the progress of ongoing tasks through the JIRA toolset
• Liaising with subject matter experts (SME) as appropriate
Your skills and experiences:
• A degree in a STEM subject, or equivalent relevant experience is essential
• Ability to solve complex problems, dealing with a variety of variables to identify the root cause of problems is essential
• Ability to work well within a team environment is required

The Radar System team:
As a part of Radar System, within BAE Systems Air sector, you will have a unique opportunity to join a challenging and fast paced environment delivering world-class capability Radars into Typhoon Platform. You will be part of a diverse team where no two days are the same, as you act as a primary contact point for major suppliers. You will continue to expand your own knowledge as you collaborate with subject matter experts within the Typhoon Engineering Team.
