Job Title Graduate Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Location Barrow (Cumbria) BAE Systems do offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however it is expected on our SHE Graduate Programme you will be required to attend your site 4 days per week minimum. Please note, this may be subject to change in line with the needs of the business. The hybrid working arrangements including which days you are required to work on site/remotely will be outlined by your line manager. Salary £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus Would you like to work in a function responsible for keeping employees safe and healthy at work? What you will be doing • Supporting managers and advisors to implement the SHE management systems, including delivery of objectives and plans • To support in the development and embedding of an improved safety culture within the Submarines business and support the SHE improvement programme • Assist key risk reduction and improvement SHE projects and activities • Provide support to audits, accidents and near miss investigations • Reviewing and interpreting safety, health and environmental reports • Understand ISO45001 and ISO14001 governance processes and how they are applied We also provide the opportunity to get involved in projects outside of your primary remit.
