BAE Systems do offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however it is expected on our Graduate Programme you will be required to attend your site 3-4 days per week. Please note, this may be subject to change in line with the needs of the business. The hybrid working arrangements including which days you are required to work on site/remotely will be outlined by your line manager.
Salary £34,000 plus welcome bonus £2000 if applicable
What you will be doing:
• Perform project reporting and scheduling tasks.
• Resolving routine problems swiftly.
• You will develop a knowledge of the business processes and procedures as well as an appreciation of customer requirements.
• Support Project Planning & Control Management and Function in implementing processes relating to their discipline.
• Support the Build line and continuous improvement initiatives.
• You will liaise with a variety of Stakeholders, Project Planning and Control Management.
• Regular use of appropriate software, Microsoft packages and toolsets to carry out the role.
• Proactively manage continued professional development whilst undertaking requirements of the role.

Specific activities could include:
The role holder will contribute and be accountable for delivery of Production Planning and Control processes on a project, ensuring compliance with practices, to enable the build.
• Manage capacity / demand on each WorkCentre
• Manage and Releases Production/ Construction Work Order
• Evaluate Production Schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas
• Work with Trade Leads to update and maintain accurate Forecasts
• Support MBP and Operations to maintain timely and effective change management processes and systems
• Assist Management team to develop and maintain periodic status reports to keep management informed on Progress
• Conduct analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules
• Analyse Material Requirements to ensure smooth enablement of build line by reviewing missing Parts and liaising with Manufacturing facilities and Procurement team
• Converting Planned Orders (PLOs) to Requisitions throughout the entire SoW pipeline
• Strategic management of all materials
Skills
As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any STEM subject
