Job Title      Graduate Operations 

Location     Barrow (Cumbria)

BAE do offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however it is expected, on our Graduate Programme, you will be required to attend your site 3-4 days per week. Please note, this may be subject to change in line with the needs of the business. The hybrid working arrangements including which days you are required to work on site/remotely will be outlined by your line manager.

Salary         £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus 

What you will be doing
As a Graduate you will transform designs into products and help our manufacturing and construction teams deliver cutting edge technology in the most effective way. You’ll be able to get involved at all levels of the business, from solving manufacturing problems on the shop floor, through to working on facility strategies or managing your own improvement projects.

We provide the opportunity to get involved in projects outside of your primary remit. We encourage you to seek a stretch project in which you’ll gain different experiences. Follow your passion with the following responsibilities; 
• Producing appropriate department documentation
• Liaising with planning and other technical departments
• Developing innovative process solutions
• Developing and mentoring new employees and team members
• Identifying you own development opportunities
• Understanding, developing and implementing greater customer and external relations

Skills
As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any STEM subject
