Job Title Graduate Manufacturing Engineer
Location Barrow – This role does not involve Hybrid working and will be based full time on site
Salary £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus
What you will be doing
Graduates will use their innovative flair to transform designs into products and processes to help our manufacturing and construction teams deliver cutting edge technology in an effective manner. You’ll be involved at multiple levels of the business, from solving manufacturing problems on the shop floor, through to working on strategic workflows to develop functional capabilities. There will also be the opportunity to work within programmes to better understand the business and increase your levels of product and business knowledge. In order to help develop your technical abilities you will be given delivery responsibility early on for objectives, one of which will be your own improvement projects.

Follow your passion with the following responsibilities:
• Producing appropriate department documentation
• Liaising with planning and other technical departments
• Developing innovative process and product solutions
• Identifying your own development opportunities
• Understanding, developing and implementing greater customer and external relations
• Working across manufacturing work streams to share best practice and develop your knowledge and skillset
Skills
As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM.
