Job title: Governance Lead Project

Location: Portsmouth. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements. Please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: Circa £72,500 depending on skills and experience

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • This role will support the Head of PM&C to ensure the appropriate governance of the PM&C functional aspects across the business
  • They will provide the lead for LCM application in Maritime Services and ensuring the compliance of the Maritime Services Business and PM community with mandated BAE SYSTEMS PM and LCM requirements
  • Responsible for Maritime Services Project Management Framework and subsequent improvement and updates
  • Innovate, develop and share best practice across Maritime Services and BAE Systems through membership of PM Council work streams

Your skills and experiences:

  • In-depth understanding of the application of Lifecycle Management and the Project Management Framework
  • Comprehensive PM domain and business knowledge
  • This role requires an individual who is pro-active, has good analytical skills, good interpersonal skills and operates at all levels
  • Experience in an engineering field or PM governance function in large organisation
  • Track record in managing process and policies, Developing and enhancing policies

The Maritime Services PM&C Function team:

As part of the strengthening of the PM&C Function in Maritime Services a functional team is being re-instated to support the delivery of PM&C aspects across the business. Feeding into the Business Operations Director the new PM function will provide a central hub in support of PM&C People & Capability, Governance, Resource planning and dedicated Project Monitoring & Control lead.
