Job title: Finance Manager – UK Typhoon Support

Salary: £60,326+ (Depending on skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the delivery of high quality Project Finance support to the IPT; providing high quality, forward looking insights and analysis
- Delivery of the Management Reporting and IBP processes, including presentation at monthly Finance reviews and Business Plan reviews
- Support key interactions with the Customer to maintain string relationships and deliver contractual requirements
- Collaboration with other elements of Project Finance, wider Finance Capability Centres and Functions to model scenarios for key areas across the Line of Business & Air Sector
- Lead and motivate your direct team and provide clarity to the wider capability centres to indirect influence performance
- Drive and lead end to end process and data improvements and efficiencies as they relate to the Line of Business, and contributing to the implementation of digital improvements
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Must be Fully Qualified CIMA, ACA, ACCA, ICAEW (AAT will NOT be accepted)
- Experience of people management and development
- Preferably has experience as a Finance Business Partner engaging with non-Finance staff and providing decision support to stakeholders – demonstrating business acumen
- Broad experience of finance management, planning and commercial finance and FP&A activities
- Demonstration of business understanding and articulation of forecast movements, risks and opportunities
- Strong knowledge and experience with financial statements, e.g. managing a P&L and cash-flow for a business
Desirable:
- Preferably has experience as a Finance Business Partner engaging with non-Finance staff and providing decision support to stakeholders – demonstrating business acumen

The Project Finance Capability Centre Team:
The Project Finance Capability Centre Team plays a critical role in delivering financial support for the Typhoon Total Availability Enterprise (TyTAN), ensuring the UK Typhoon fleet’s readiness for RAF operations, including essential Quick Reaction Alert (QRA) missions.
The team focuses on driving performance and growth within an integrated project environment, collaborating closely with Operations, CAMs, Procurement, Commercial, Project Management, and Finance functions. Their work supports both frontline customer needs and transformational initiatives to future-proof business foundations.
