Job title: FCAS Security – Professional for Governance, Risk and Assurance
Location: Warton. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements
Salary: £47,683.00+ based on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Playing a critical role in delivering the Future Combat Air Security (FCAS) Governance, Risk and Assurance function, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to manage risk, perform risk assessments, assure controls and verify that security standards are being upheld
- Project managing and tracking the governance, risk and assurance activities of FCAS Programme security and its interfaces with national and international government and industry partners
- Tracking and monitoring the health and status of security controls, processes and systems spanning the cyber, physical, personnel, operational, supply chain domains
- Drafting and producing reporting and evidence to support senior risk-based decision making, and to ensure the accountability of the FCAS Programme Security team
- Owning, maintaining and refining a set of security artefacts for the FCAS Security Senior Professional for GRA
- Deputising for the GRA Senior Security Professional as needed
Your skills and experiences:
- Experienced within project management and coordination, risk management or assurance settings or theoretical knowledge
- Experience of security legislation, standards and good practice
- Familiarity with risk assessment tools, software and data analytics
- Ideally, experience of using JIRA and Confluence for reporting and coordination and any bespoke risk management software

This team is a holistic security team designed to be able to tackle current and future threats to our programme, people and capabilities. We are investing in a new and innovative approach to security and this new team is looking to develop BAE’s new approach to multinational, highly sensitive and critical military programmes.
