About the OPPORTUNITY
Join the BAE Systems F-35 Depot team in Williamtown on a permanent full-time basis, as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Structures). Reporting to the Team Lead, you will perform scheduled servicing, unscheduled maintenance, modifications and upgrades at our Williamtown NSW site. Note, relocation support is available for candidates living outside the Williamtown, Hunter, and Maitland regions.
Key RESPONSIBILITIES
- Structural repairs and maintenance for metal, bonded & composite components.
- Work in line with Defence aviation and F35 airworthiness standards.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as directed by the Team Leader.
- Use only authorised and current technical data for all tasks.
- Record and certify all maintenance actions accurately and on time.
- Apply engineering instructions, defect reports and publication updates as required.
- Report defects, errors and unserviceable items promptly to the Team Leader.
- Complete maintenance only within your authorised scope.
- Submit quality, non-conformance and defect reports when required.
About YOU
- Hold a relevant Aircraft Maintenance Trade i.e. Cert IV Aeroskills – Structures
- Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain a Defence Clearance
- Experience or a strong interest in working with Defence Military Aircraft.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to deliver work within a fast-paced team environment.
