The Logistics Support Anaylst (LSA) Team:
Our dedicated team of support engineers help create maintenance documents that get delivered to the Ministry of Defence and Navy staff on-board both the Astute and Dreadnought Class of Royal Navy submarines.
With the progress of Astute well on the way in delivering the final 2 boats, our primary focus has turned to Dreadnought. Our job, working with other support teams on-site in Barrow, helps identify all equipment on-board that needs inspecting, replaced or repaired, and your role as an LSA analyst is to help write these maintenance tasks.
We have a rapidly expanding diverse team with a range of employment backgrounds so it is not essential to come from the engineering industry. Experience is welcomed but not essential, full training will be provided where you will get the chance to look at manufacturer’s equipment drawings, parts lists, schematics and other technical data to get an understanding of how we maintain items on our submarines.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and be part of a dedicated team of professionals.
