What you’ll be doing: 

• Intelligent Customer for Reactor Plant documentation and its safety case
• Review design documentation and assess plant design changes
• Assess plant build maturity for entry into subsequent build phases
• Ensure maintenance of Reactor Plant design intent during build and commissioning
• Technical problem-solving during plant construction and commissioning
• Providing technically sound challenges to existing requirements
• Writing and presenting reports with regards to Reactor Plant problem resolution
• Facilitate programme delivery through innovative engineering solutions

Your skills and experiences:  

Essential:

• Degree Qualified Engineering/Physical Science discipline; Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Materials, Chemistry, Physics or equivalent industry experience

Desirable:

• Proven technical report writing skills
• Presentation skills
• Knowledge of the nuclear industry and Nuclear Regulations
• Previous exposure to Engineering Lifecycle
• Proven experience of justifying design change, ideally on a Nuclear plant
• Previous Nuclear plant experience
