What you’ll be doing:
- Intelligent Customer for Reactor Plant documentation and its safety case
- Review design documentation and assess plant design changes
- Assess plant build maturity for entry into subsequent build phases
- Ensure maintenance of Reactor Plant design intent during build and commissioning
- Technical problem-solving during plant construction and commissioning
- Providing technically sound challenges to existing requirements
- Writing and presenting reports with regards to Reactor Plant problem resolution
- Facilitate programme delivery through innovative engineering solutions
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Degree Qualified Engineering/Physical Science discipline; Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Materials, Chemistry, Physics or equivalent industry experience
Desirable:
- Proven technical report writing skills
- Presentation skills
- Knowledge of the nuclear industry and Nuclear Regulations
- Previous exposure to Engineering Lifecycle
- Proven experience of justifying design change, ideally on a Nuclear plant
- Previous Nuclear plant experience

The Platform Nuclear Engineering Department is a growing capability covering activities ranging from design safety assurance, engineering/technical problem solving to practical innovation and improvement projects.
