Job Title: Degree Apprentice Quantity Surveying Graduate

Location: Glasgow

Salary: Starting from £23,286 with annual progression through the scheme duration.

What you will be doing:

Quantity Surveyor’s at BAE Systems are predominantly involved in highly skilled work and are required to take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of the work they undertake within the limits of their personal authority. 

You will be trained to demonstrate the following:
•    Cost Management 
•    Pre and Post Control Processes
•    Commercial Management of Contraction
•    Value & Risk Appraisal

Export Control / Security:

Please be aware that many roles at BAE Systems are subject to both security and export control restrictions. These restrictions mean that factors such as your nationality, any nationalities you may have previously held, and your place of birth can restrict the roles you are eligible to perform within the organisation. All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks. 

 

Qualification requirements

5 National 5s including English, Maths and Science or a technical subject at Grade C or above (or equivalent), plus, 4 Highers with a minimum of 2 at Grade B or above including English, Maths and Science or a technical subject (excluding Application of Maths).
