Job Title: Degree Apprentice Project Controller Location: Portsmouth Naval Base Salary: We offer a competitive salary with annual increases throughout the apprenticeship and a range of employee benefits including free higher education as well as access to the Company pension and share saving scheme What you will be doing: Working in Project Controls means you will be exposed to varied information both qualitative and quantitative. Over the duration of your apprenticeship, you will be empowered to produce and interpret a range of data, which will enable you to have the most detailed and up-to-date position about a project. Using meaningful data, you will have the ability to predict future outcomes based on current trends and predict outcomes making you an invaluable to any project team. Specific activities could include: Typical day to day activities could include updating and maintaining project schedules, interpreting and comparing forecast to actual spend and ensuring adequate risks and opportunities are identified for projects. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks. |
