Job Title: Data Insights Lead
Location: Frimley/Preston/Warton
Salary: £48000 + dependant on experience
What you’ll be doing:
· Influence and inspire local analytics champions (the Functional Insights Leads) though your knowledge of what analytics can do
· Work with the Functional Insights Leads to understand the potential use cases for analytics within their function
· Use your knowledge and experience of data and analytics to set out how the use cases can be delivered
· With the Functional Insights Leads, set out and agree the high level plans (roadmaps) for data and analytics within their functions
· Ensure that the roadmaps are achievable, ambitious, consistent, and coherent
· Support Function Insight Leads deliver and track benefits from analytics
· Work to good practice and recommend improvements to relevant IM&T analytics processes, policies and standards
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
· Ability to convert a business need into an analytical requirement
· Knowledge of what analytics (including advanced analytics concepts such as machine learning) is and how it can add value
· Experience of implementing data and analytics management programmes
· Experience of designing, analysing and interpreting metrics to identify weaknesses in process
Desirable:
· Knowledge in user experience modelling, information design, and concept generation

You will be responsible for supporting the group functions with insights development, maintaining and delivering their analytical roadmap. You will join a newly created role, so you will have lots of opportunity to bring in new ideas into the team support the company with transforming how we manage and use the data that is available to BAE
