Job title: Configuration Management Lead

Salary: £50,818+ depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing and controlling all configuration management activities for your assigned projects, documenting and updating the process within the Configuration Management Plan or sub-plans as required
- Managing the control and release of the Technical Data Package (TDP) in conjunction with the declaration of an Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM)
- Ensuring Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) and Procurement Bill of Materials (PBOM) is aligned with the declared EBOM in accordance with the planned points of embodiment
- Creating, updating and maintaining all contracted and internal Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) documentation, providing documentation to functional representatives and the customer for review
- Identifying and procuring hardware to support on-going platform retrofits
- Continually developing, maintaining and reporting CM metrics for inclusion within the wider programme reporting performance metrics
- Identifying risks and opportunities in accordance with the programme’s risk management process, owning individual mitigation actions
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Experience of Configuration Management in a product & after sales service environment
- Experience in Project Managing tasks from planning to completion
- Experience in engaging and presenting to internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft SharePoint environment, MS Office applications and ERP systems, preferably SAP
Desirable:
- Background in engineering, project management, project engineer or similar discipline
