Job title: Commercial Manager

Salary: From £56,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
· Day to day management of complex prime contracts and support to our supply chain function in relation to major sub-contract related activities
· Negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers
· Developing procurement strategies
· Preparing business cases for approval and sign off
· Answering commercial queries on a daily or weekly basis
· Managing a team of direct reports
· Dealing with a range of stakeholders of the business
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
· Educated to a degree level in related subject e.g. Law or Business, or evidence of relevant experience
· Commercial management experience in major projects across the Project Life Cycle Model (CADMID)
· Proven track record of management experience
Desirable:
· CIPS Qualified
· ICM qualified

The Commercial Team:
The Commercial Manager supports Commercial and Supply Chain activity and is responsible for all contract activity undertaken by the employing commercial team. Covering a wide range of diverse contract activity you will cover both contract negotiation and contract management of all activities undertaken by the commercial team.
