About the OPPORTUNITIES
We currently opportunities for Casual Invigilators based at our NSW-RAAF Base Wagga Wagga, you will be responsible for supporting candidates whilst maintaining examination integrity. In addition to this, you will ensure that exams are conducted fairly and in a secure and conducive environment.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring students during exams to ensure they follow the rules and maintain focus.
- Verifying the identity of students, distributing, and collecting exam materials.
- Monitoring for any signs of Academic misconduct or irregularities and maintaining adherence to exam rules and regulations.
- Address any issues that arise during the exam and ensure the smooth and orderly conduct of the examination process.
- Completion of basic administrative tasks such as scanning, printing, filing etc.
- Ensure all candidates adhere to exam guidelines, including restrictions on electronic devices, unauthorised materials, and behaviour.
- Complete any necessary documentation, including incident reports, and report any irregularities as appropriate.
- Observe for signs of cheating or misconduct and take appropriate action if necessary.
About YOU
- Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Essential).
- Well-developed self-management skills and demonstrated ability to work under their own initiative to deliver outputs to time, quality and cost.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be highly regarded.
- An education background would be preferred but is not essential.
- Intermediate MS Office skills, especially in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
