Job title: Senior Capability Development Engineer
Location: Warton, Brough or Prestwick -We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements
Salary: £52,084 to £57,344 depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
As a Senior Capability Development Engineer, you will be able to lead a team of experienced engineers. Your expertise will support BAE in increasing and enhancing our engineering capability, through evaluating and implementing new tools and processes fit for the future. You’ll also manage facilities and associated processes such as testing within wind tunnels or electromagnetic field testing. With exciting new tools entering the market you will be at the forefront of shaping the way our engineers work for decades to come
Your skills and experiences:
· Degree educated in a STEM discipline or HND/HNC with sound experience of the Engineering Lifecycle
· Systems Engineering, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering experience background would be an advantage
· Experience instigating and managing change through continuously improving ways of working within an engineering environment
· Highly experienced in engineering delivery environments, able to analyse and assess engineering methods, tools, and practices for efficiency and effectiveness
