Associate 2nd Line Support Engineer (NR Property Digital)
Job Description
We are looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer with experience of delivering value to clients by supporting solutions that make complex datasets easy to understand and enable clients to use their data to operate strategically and efficiently.
Key responsibilities:
- Support maintenance, testing, release and enhancement of Power BI & Salesforce components
- Support Power BI & Salesforce development, including minor updates and configuration changes
- Support reports and dashboards, including minor updates and configuration changes
- Troubleshooting software issues with customers
- Document and record issues in the helpdesk system
- Ensure SLA’s are met and customers are satisfied
- Ensure data governance, security and compliance policies are adhered to
Skills:
- Familiarity with Power BI tools (including Power BI Desktop, DAX Studio)
- Familiarity with Salesforce development lifecycle
- Knowledge of operating systems, such as Windows and familiarity with Microsoft Office suit
- Microsoft Visual Studio & Salesforce Lightning Design System
- General web development experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript
- Familiarity in DAX
- Familiarity in SQL
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and working systems
- Experience of working directly with client stakeholders
Also desirable:
- Experience of working on cloud platforms
- Experience in other languages / development (XML, Flex, .NET, SQL, C++, SOAP-based web services)
- Related certifications, e.g. Microsoft Data Analyst Associate
- Activity on Microsoft Power BI Forums
- Active in the Salesforce community
- Demonstrates continued personal / professional development
