What you will be doing The Instrumentation Calibration Services (ICS) department has the responsibility of calibration, maintenance, managed collection, storage and delivery of test, measurement and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) on the Barrow site. Equipment maintained and calibrated by the laboratory include; Electrical, Mechanical, Dimensional, Temperature, Gas, Communication, Fixed Plant and Ionizing Radiation test and measurement equipment. Specific activities could include The core duties of calibration technicians within the Instrumentation Calibration Services department are wide ranging, they include but are not limited to:
You will then spend the second and third year within the business. You will have the opportunity to rotate across various placements within the calibration laboratory and will be cross-skilled between mechanical, dimensional and electrical calibration sub-parameters.
