JOB PURPOSE
BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

The Hawk T-165 Aircrew Training Device (ATD) Simulator Instructor Pilot (IP) is a key member of the KFAB O&AT operations delivery team. As the ATD Simulator IP will contribute significantly to the Entry into Service (EIS) and transition to the O&AT Hawk T-165 Service Delivery (SD) of KFAB Hawk T-165 ATD. During O&AT sustained SD, the ATD Simulator IP will contribute to the coordination, update and delivery of the KFAB hawk T-165 ATD training Service.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsible for supporting the O&AT ATD SD.

Support and operate within the ATD training Concept of Operations (CONOPS) to meet O&AT requirements for all initial, conversion and continuation training syllabuses

Coordinate and conduct ATD scheduled events in accordance with (IAW) RSAF and BAESSA training and governance policies
-
Coordinate instructional and support staff to adequately resource the ATD scheduled events
-
Maintain ATD Instructional standards and ensure ATD output meets or exceeds customer requirements
-
Support ATD management, instructional and support staff to ensure the ATD training service utilizes best practice and delivers an optimum solution for KFAB Hawk units.

Coordinate other ATD Simulator PILOT currency, competency training and evaluation.

Deliver scheduled training to the required standard on the Hawk T-165 Full Mission Simulator (FMS).

Deliver scheduled training to the required standard on the Hawk T-165 Integrated Procedures Training (IPT)
-
Deliver scheduled training to the required standard on the Hawk T-165 Egress Training Device (ETD) and Ejection Seat Training Device (ESTD).

Deliver scheduled ground training to the required standard in the Hawk T-165 Multimedia Computer Based Training (MCBT) classroom

Utilise the Flying Operations Training Management Information System (TMIS) and Learning Management System (LMS).

Update courseware utilising the Learning Content Management System (LCMS) and in accordance with (IAW) DSAT processes.

Administer and grade trainee ground-based examinations.
RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
-
Must be a highly experienced military/ex-military IP with extensive proven experience.
-
One fast jet tour commensurate with T-165 capabilities.

ATD IPs must be contracted regulation criteria
-
Instructors will have aircrew experience and should have completed a recognised service instructional tour.

Possess a QFI/QWI/FWI or equivalent instructional qualification. Additional O&AT essential requirements for the ATD IP include:

Competently able to use Microsoft Office products.

Hawk T-2 or glass cockpit Hawk aircraft or simulator experience.

Previous aircraft or simulator instruction on Hawk Lead in Fighter (LIF) Courses
-
Delivery experience of LIF-related Computer Based Training Systems (CBT).

Experience in training design, syllabus development and the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) process.
