Job Title: Digital Products and Services Manager (Edgewing)

Location: Reading area. The role could be contracted to any BAE Systems site (preferably Frimley) but on commencement will immediately be assigned to our Edgewing JV in the Reading area. A financial support package may be available to enable this assignment if required, dependent on certain criteria being met. Due to the nature of this assignment, we envisage there will be a need for mostly on site working, however, flexible working arrangements may be possible – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this role.

Salary: £75,000 plus car allowance and performance bonus

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll operationalise the roadmap by translating the digital strategy into concrete product roadmaps, supporting the growth of secure and scalable digital services based on the GCAP platform, manage the product lifecycle, overseeing the lifecycle of digital products from concept to release, whilst improving customer experience, enabling the development of new capabilities. You will ensure architectural consistency by collaborating with solution architects, aligning consistency with security and integration requirements. You will lead cross function teams, promoting agile approaches and structuring efficient teams, supported by SCRUM, and monitor performance, analysing KPI‘s, and feeding back to ensure continuous improvement, and align with other business functions, ensuring products are launched based on priority.

Core duties:

• Proven experience in the digital field, with roles of responsibility in managing teams and complex technological projects
• Solid knowledge of connected platforms, APIs, cloud native architectures and DevOps tools
• Considerable analytical skills to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement
• Organized and detail-oriented approach to auditing and knowledge validation activities
• Data analysis skills to monitor knowledge usage, quality metrics and compliance reporting
