Job Title: Project Controller

Location: Frimley, Portsmouth Broad Oak, Portsmouth Naval Base or Cowes, hybrid – 2/3 days weekly onsite

Salary: Up to £45,000 dependent on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

You will use your project control expertise to support the planning, monitoring and governance of diverse projects. This includes developing project schedules, maintaining baselines, tracking progress, and identifying performance variances while providing clear insight on risks, mitigations and improvement opportunities.

You will collaborate with project teams to manage scope, change, budgeting and forecasting, while overseeing scheduling, KPIs, variance and earned value analysis. Your work will strengthen project controls governance and deliver accurate reporting that enables informed decision‑making throughout the project lifecycle.

Core duties:

• You will have knowledge and understanding of Project Control policies, processes, procedures and systems
• Understanding of one or more Project Control tools techniques and practices
• Familiarity of industry Project Controls toolsets e.g. Primavera, Microsoft Project, SAP, Predict
• Experience in Risk and Opportunity Management
• Confidence working with business information toolsets/data analytics e.g. Tableau, Microsoft Power BI is advantageous
• Background in one or more of these relevant disciplines such as Project Controls, Baseline Control, Cost Estimating/Engineering, Resource Management, Quantity Surveying, Business Analysis or Financial Management within project environments is advantageous
