Responsibilities

·        Assist in defining customer requirements and various elements of work as directed in order to deliver the project on time, cost and quality requirements

·        Produce a range of data to ensure effective progress monitoring against project schedule.

·        Contribute to “lessons learned” reviews to support improved project management capability and processes.

·        Implement, as directed, all other appropriate project management systems, policies, procedures, and processes.

·        Contribute to meetings with sub-contractors – including collating first level plans – to support the effective management of sub-contracts.

·        Monitor project activities to ensure they adhere to all policies and procedures and that they are carried out in such a way as to minimise risk.

·        Manage, under guidance and supervision, lower value, and low criticality project sub-elements to support overall project delivery and to build project management experience.

·        Assist in defining customer requirements and various elements of work as directed in order to deliver the project to time, cost and quality requirements.

·        Understand and strive to exceed the expectations of internal/external Customers and stakeholders.

·        Two-way communication through sharing of information as appropriate and listening to other parties’ views and expectations.

·        Support, co-operate with, and work with others in order to achieve common goals and objectives.

·        Adopt a pro-active and flexible approach to duties of the role and the needs of the wider business.

·        Undertake all mandatory and developmental training as deemed appropriate by the business.

·        Monitor and record KPIs with all support documentation and collect store the contract milestones of ATD and Tech services.

·        Subscribe to and actively participate in the PDR process.

·        Strive to adhere to acceptable standards of behaviour and performance as expected by the business and defined in Company policy, etc)

Job Requirements:

·        The role carries out project management activities to facilitate the effective delivery of projects. This may involve being responsible, under supervision, for project sub-elements, typically of relatively low value and criticality (in the context of BAE Systems Saudi Arabia projects).

·        Understands and complies with processes to identify and define risks.

·        Understands and takes appropriate action regarding project success/failure criteria.

·        Able to support the project with requesting purchase orders, issuing PO’s and support tell the delivery of goods and services.

·        Capable of tracking orders and managing communications with approved suppliers.

·        Manage the traces letters and customer action for ATD and Tech services

·        Knowledgeable at controlling the budget of the project as required.

·        Expertise in using planning tools.

·        Expertise in using risk registers.

·        Uses a range of interpersonal skills to work as an effective member of the project team.

·        Able to contribute effectively to meetings on continuous improvement and other matters.

·        Preferably the applicant will have exposure to Project Support activities within a matrix organisation with an understanding of the BAE Systems Saudi Arabia business, or an ability to develop this quickly, and 2-5 years of working experience.

·        The role would typically require a degree in Project Management or related discipline.
