Job title: Governance/Assurance Team Lead

Salary: £38,500 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist with the daily management of operational activities and team performance
- Motivate, support, and develop team members to ensure high performance
- Lead team meetings and training sessions
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure the resolution of operational queries
- Handle escalations and ensure a smooth end-user experience
- Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively across teams
- Use analytic skills to conduct impact assessments and support planning
- Collaborate with Shared Services teams to optimise processes and provide updates
- Contribute to process improvements and maintain work instructions and procedures
- Continuously assess and improve Time & Attendance services for efficiency
Your skills and experiences:
- Strong leadership and people skills with previous line management experience
- Understanding of continuous improvement/process improvements
- Previous experience of assurance/governance activities
- Ability to plan and carry out impact assessments
- Strong excel skills including VLOOKUPS

The Time and Attendance Team:
The Time and Attendance team provides a service to over 30,000 UK based employees by processing and maintaining accurate Time and Attendance records. The role will operate in a busy customer facing environment, dealing with queries of varying complexity from employees and stakeholders in the business, resolving transactional queries, processing requests and maintaining accurate data and systems.
